Why this practice exists
Techforgepoint began with a recurring problem: people accepted good roles in Germany, remained rooted in a neighbouring country, and received fragmented answers from employers, insurers and online forums. The missing piece was often not another opinion, but a disciplined account of the facts and the right sequence of questions.
Our consultations help employees describe their work pattern clearly, understand ordinary German onboarding language and recognise when a matter belongs with a lawyer, tax adviser, health insurer or public authority.
Our working approach
We prepare before speaking, use plain English during the meeting and document next steps afterwards. We do not blur general guidance into regulated advice. When the answer depends on an official determination, we say who may be competent and help the client formulate the question.
The practice works with employees moving between Germany and other European countries, including weekly commuters and hybrid workers. Meetings take place online or by appointment in Leipzig.
Values in practice
Accuracy matters more than reassurance. Proportionality matters too: a straightforward onboarding query should not become an unnecessarily large engagement. Clients receive a clear scope, fee and limits before booking.
