What this consultation resolves
This session is for an employee who lives outside Germany and has received, or is about to receive, a German employment contract. We read the practical terms together and build a list of questions that must be settled before signing or starting work.
We cover the stated work location, home-office wording, working time, probation, notice, annual leave, salary and payroll references, travel expectations, and which country you will physically work from. The result is a written action record—not a redrafted contract or a binding tax opinion.
Included
- A short pre-call review of the contract or offer, up to 20 pages
- A 60-minute private consultation
- A map of employer, health-insurer and authority questions
- A written summary within two working days
- One clarification email within seven days
The consultation does not include legal representation, tax filing, social-security registration, payroll processing, immigration applications or certified translation. If a regulated specialist is needed, we identify the question to take to them.
Preparation and process
After we confirm fit, send the employment offer with unnecessary personal identifiers removed. Also note your country of residence, intended first workday, expected number of home-working days and whether you have another job or self-employment.
The meeting is delivered by a cross-border employment adviser familiar with German onboarding and EU coordination questions. Complex tax, labour-law and immigration conclusions are referred to appropriately qualified professionals.
Fee and timing
The fixed fee is €165 including the written follow-up. Payment arrangements are confirmed when the appointment is accepted. Most appointments are available within five working days. Cancellations and rescheduling are governed by our refund policy.
Discuss your situation
